Blue Beacon Truck Wash of Memphis South, TN

I recently visited Blue Beacon Truck Wash in Memphis, TN, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I was told they would not clean my trailer because there was additional trash inside, citing safety concerns. While I understand businesses have policies and safety standards, I felt the situation could have been handled more professionally. What also concerned me was that there were three employees present, and there was a strong odor of marijuana around the area, which did not leave a good impression for a business serving professional drivers. I believe customer service and professionalism are important, especially in the trucking industry. I hope management reviews these concerns and works to improve the experience for future customers.

“I had a very disappointing experience and would not recommend this place. Despite paying for additional services such as a wax and shine, the truck was not properly cleaned, which was unacceptable and not worth the time or money.”

Avoid this location—Paid for a wash, left with salt, "hidden" fees, and an owner who refuses to refund unperformed services. I’ve been here three times, and two out of those three were horrible. I came in with 8 weeks of salt buildup, paid $60+ for a tractor wash, $11 for a trailer drop, and extra for a scrub and Rain-X. I specifically dropped the trailer so the axles and 5th wheel area could be properly cleaned. When they said they were "done," the truck was still covered in salt and road grime. The scrub I paid for clearly never happened, and the Rain-X was nowhere to be found. The worst part: When I asked them to actually spray the dirt off the tractor's 5th wheel and axle area, they tried to hit me with an ADDITIONAL $45 charge just to spray it, and another $10 for the scrub I had already paid for! They just keep adding money to the bill for things that should be included in a standard wash. **UPDATE:** The owner called me after this happened. He reviewed the camera footage himself and admitted that the extra fees "should have been more clearly communicated" and that he was going to talk to his staff. However, when I told him I wanted a refund for the extra stuff I paid for

01/14/25. They did a great job.. well so I thought. Left after waiting in line 1.5 hrs to find that the exterior of my trailer wasn’t washed at all. My tractor and trailer washout was done well but the exterior of my trailer was completely missed! Wonder if and how they’ll make this right… that’s $40 paid and service skipped! I’ll update with how they remedy this…
